About Waterfowl Legends Pro Staff....
Martin C. Anderson

Martin grew up in Fayetteville, Ga. and spent his early years hunting
with family in south Georgia. He went duck hunting for the first time
in 1982 at the age of 16,and was hooked. His first dozen decoys and a
call were purchased that same year and it's been an adventure ever
since. He says there is nothing like holding that first greenhead in
your hands, "It cost me forty five dollars to mount my first mallard
and it's still hanging on my wall 25 years later". After graduating
from Georgia Southern University Martin started roaming all over
pursuing waterfowl and upland game, "I have always loved going new
places, meeting new people and hunting different types of habitat and
species".
Over the years Martin has had the opportunity to hunt from
Canada all the way to Argentina and many places in between. He loves
just about any kind of bird hunting from doves to quail and pheasant
but waterfowl will always be his first choice. He says there is
nothing as awesome as watching birds come into decoys and loves it
when you can work a flock all the way in until they put their feet
down. "The cool thing about duck hunting is you just never know what
will happen next or what you will see and experience." His passion for
waterfowl and conservation also got him involved with Ducks Unlimited
years ago by serving on a local committee. If you ever get the chance
to go to Canada or the prairie pot hole region in the Dakota's he said
you will understand just how important the work Ducks Unlimited is
doing and encourages all waterfowlers to get involved. When not off
chasing birds somewhere Martin is a real estate appraiser in the metro
Atlanta area.
